Kia’s innovative electric vehicle (EV), EV9, has once again won another award, clinching the ‘Best of the Best’ award in the Cars and Motorcycles category at the Red Dot Award: Product Design 2024. With the EV9 topping more awards through its excellence, Kia’s EV9 is becoming the top EV in the global market as continues to reach new heights for the company. 

The Red Dot Design Award has been renowned for recognizing excellent design quality and innovation, where a jury of international experts determine the qualities of design and innovation each year. For this year, Kia’s EV9 has been awarded for its creative ‘Opposites Untied’ design philosophy that blends contemporary and futuristic aesthetics with sustainable mobility solutions. 

Moreover, the exterior design of the Kia EV9’s signature Digital Tiger Face, Digital Pattern Lighting Grille, and vertical headlamps deliver an appeal to the design while aligning with Kia’s signature aesthetics for its EV lineup.

The acclaim that Kia’s EV9 is receiving has been staggering as it has won numerous awards that have made it stand out from the rest of the competition in the EV market. Particularly, Kia’s EV9 has also won the prestigious 2024 World Car of the Year and 2024 World Electric Car. With Kia’s EV9 piling up more awards, the company is heading to more recognition and higher status in the EV industry. 

As Kia plans to sell 1.6 million EVs annually by 2030, the awards being given to the company’s esteemed EV9 will contribute to the increase in its EV sales. The Red Dot Award ceremony is scheduled for June 24, 2024, in the Aalto Theatre in Essen, Germany.
